HERO Patrol Car Program

In an effort to end drunk driving tragedies, municipalities throughout New Jersey and beyond have joined forces with The John R. Elliott HERO Campaign for Designated Drivers®, turning over 25 police department and emergency service vehicles into rolling billboards through the HERO Patrol Car Program. This initiative is supported by a grant from the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety (NJDHTS).

These patrol cars are wrapped in the HERO Campaign’s navy blue and yellow colors, prominently featuring the message, “Be a HERO. Be a Designated Driver.” For information on how to bring a HERO Patrol car to your town, please contact Bill Elliott at: belliott@herocampaign.org
