Be a Highway HERO!

The HERO Campaign for Designated Drivers^® is hitting the highways!  Our Highway HEROES Challenge will distribute thousands of HERO Campaign car decals for display by drivers at the Jersey Shore, to promote safe and sober designated driving. We’ll reward these Highway HEROES with gift cards when we spot decals on their vehicles, and make them eligible for several grand prizes.

Our Goal: With the help of our sponsors, we will distribute more than 10,000 HERO Campaign decals at 30-40 locations throughout Atlantic, Cape May and southern Ocean counties. Drivers will be asked to display the decals anywhere on their vehicles to help promote the mission of the HERO Campaign.

The Reward: When our HERO Campaign team spots a HERO decal on a vehicle, they’ll issue a gift card from an area business, along with our congratulations and instructions on how to register for our grand prize drawings. We plan to reward 300-400 lucky HERO drivers and invite them to register for our grand prize by taking our Highway HERO Pledge online. We also will invite them to send pictures of the HERO decals on their cars so we can post them on our social media sites.

Highway HEROES Challenge Sponsors: We invite you to become one of our sponsors, helping us to promote the Highway HEROES Challenge, distribute HERO decals, and provide rewards for our winners. The available sponsor levels are listed below.

• Highway HEROES Challenge Program Sponsors ($2,500): This premier sponsor level includes primary acknowledgement on all advertising, posters and distribution site promotional materials, the HERO Campaign website and social media. Your name and logo also will appear prominently on all “reward” cards presented to gift card winners. All Highway HEROES sponsors are invited to make their businesses decal distribution sites.
• HERO Grand Prize Sponsors: With trips, overnight stays, and entertainment packages, grand prize sponsors will contribute in-kind grand prizes of at least $1,500 in value. A total of three will be offered.
• HERO Captain Sponsors ($1,000): Supporting our marketing and promotion campaign, distribution of all HERO decals, and our HERO Award Team Spotters, this sponsor level includes acknowledgment on all Highway HEROES Challenge advertising, posters and social media.
• HERO Prize Sponsors ($500-in kind): HERO prize sponsors will provide $500 worth of rewards (e.g. free appetizers, car wash, pizza, etc.). Prize sponsors will be listed on kickoff advertising, the HERO Campaign website, and tagged on our social media. Prize sponsors will also be decal distribution sites.

*   Employees, families and volunteers of the HERO Campaign, and program sponsors, are ineligible for the grand prize drawing.
