Berks County HERO Establishments
Join us today as a Berks County HERO Bar & Tavern as we work together to keep your patrons safe from drunk driving tragedies by promoting designated drivers. There is no cost to sign up and join our efforts.
Your establishment will be recognized on the HERO Campaign Website with a link to your website or preferred social media site. All we ask in return is that you promote and reward designated drivers.
The Berks County Council on Chemical Abuse has partnered with the John R. Elliott HERO Campaign for Designated Drivers® to recognize HERO establishments in Berks County. For more information, please call 610.376.8669 or visit cocaberks.org.

How to Be a HERO Establishment:
The John R. Elliott HERO Campaign for Designated Drivers shares a common goal with establishments that serve alcohol – to allow patrons to have fun and at the end of the evening have a safe way home. Join us today in helping us to promote safe and sober designated drivers.
I/We commit to the HERO Campaign Pledge and agree to the following procedures:
- Encourage patrons to be or use sober designated drivers.
- Offer free soft drinks, coffee or other non-alcoholic beverages to non-drinking designated drivers.
- Promote the importance of designated drivers with posters supplied by the John R. Elliott HERO Campaign and Berks County Council on Chemical Abuse.
- Allow the HERO Campaign to promote our establishment as a HERO Campaign Bar and Tavern Partner.
