“HEROtini Peach Bellini” Launched at 15th Anniversary Brunch

On Sunday, July 19, 2015, the HERO Society hosted its 15th Anniversary Brunch at Stockton’s Seaview Golf Club and Resort, which marked a milestone for the John R. Elliott HERO Campaign for Designated Drivers®.

Muriel Elliott, co-founder of the HERO Campaign, along with the Brunch Committee decided it would be fun to create a signature non-alcoholic beverage to serve to guests at the brunch.

After sampling “mocktails” at area bars and restaurants, Muriel presented her idea to the Seaview catering staff and for the zero-proof “HEROtini Peach Bellini.”

“We consistently drive home the message of choosing to use a designated driver, said Muriel Elliott, founder and co-chairman, “However making a commitment to be a designated driver does not mean you can’t be part of the fun,” she added.

The HEROtini Peach Bellini was served to guests as they mingled before brunch with a recipe card at each place setting, listing recipes for several other “zero proof” drinks.

The HEROtini and other zero-proof beverage recipes can be found here.
